• XP chose to build the Gold Maxx with instantaneous sound signaling and without an LCD. This system reacts and responds more quickly than a normal LCD, allowing you to hear the correct signal directly as it should. LCDs cannot react well enough to small objects, unlike the instantaneous sound system.
• The G-MAXX 2 Power sound signaling produces a real-time output of the most imperceptible signals. The G-MAXX 2 features a wide scan head (Double D) to enable better ground penetration. The optional 24*11 search coil improves selectivity in iron trash areas, which is the primary goal of the Gold Maxx.
• Regarding the wireless headphone, the transmitter is now integrated into the circuit boards of these four new detectors. It has been designed with two switchable channels. A FREQ SHIFT switch on the front of the detectors enables quick and easy toggling between CH 1 or CH 2 frequencies.
• Changing the frequency is also simplified with a new switch (FREQ SHIFT), reducing interference from other XP devices nearby. New analogical filters enhance target detection in iron-infested areas by reducing the masking effect caused by iron. This allows for faster sweeping operations.
• The gradation of the sensitivity settings has also been improved, making them more precise. This zoomed-in range of sensitivity settings enables finer adjustments for easier sensitivity control.
• The G-Maxx II Metal Detector remains a "multi-tone" detector, but users can now adjust the iron level setting using the IRON THRESHOLD potentiometer. This potentiometer can be viewed as a detection setting covering iron exclusively, with fine-tuning settings ranging from 0 to 20. At 0, all iron produces medium-pitched sounds.
